TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Deputy House Speaker Saan Mustopa did not deny the information, stating that President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to attend the plenary session of the Fifth Session of the House of Representatives (DPR).
"That's the plan," said Saan at the Parliament Complex on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
According to him, the Head of State is scheduled to present the macroeconomic framework and the main points of fiscal policy (KEM-PPKF) at the plenary session.
Saan added that it is the first time a president has presented the agenda of presenting the KEM-PPKF and the Draft State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBN) 2027 directly to the DPR.
Because in previous years, similar agendas were generally presented directly by the government through the relevant ministers.
"(Is this the first time?) Yes, as far as I know," said the NasDem Party politician.
According to information obtained by Tempo, three agendas are scheduled for tomorrow's plenary session.
The details are as follows:
1. Presentation of KEM-PPKF and the RAPBN for the 2027 Fiscal Year by the Government.
2. Report of the Legislative Body on the Evaluation of the Second Amendment to the 2026 Priority Bill Prolegnas, followed by Decision Making.
3. Opinions of the Factions on the Draft Bill Proposal Initiative of Commission III regarding Amendments to Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Indonesian National Police, followed by Decision Making to become a Bill Proposal of the DPR.
