Amallia/Fadia Win First Pair Title at Thailand Masters 2026

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian women's doubles pair Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti have clinched the championship title at the Thailand Masters 2026. The eighth seeds defeated the seventh-seeded Chinese duo, Bao Li Jing and Li Yi Jing, in a grueling three-game final on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Amallia/Fadia initially took a 7-3 lead in the first game but soon found themselves tied at 7-7. Subsequently, they fell behind as Bao/Li secured six straight points, resulting in a score of 10-15 before winning the game 15-21.

In the second game, Amallia/Fadia staged a comeback. They led 11-6 at the interval and maintained their momentum to win 21-15 after 30 minutes of play, forcing a deciding third game.

In the final game, the intense battle persisted. Points shifted back and forth with a margin of no more than three points. Amallia/Fadia repeatedly forced the Chinese pair into errors. After an 18-18 tie, the Indonesian duo secured victory by gaining three consecutive points, ending the match after 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The Thailand Masters 2026 title marks the first title for the pair since they began their partnership. For Fadia, it represents her second consecutive title at the tournament, following her BWF Super 300 success last year alongside Lanny Tria Mayasari.

Amallia/Fadia's success ensures Indonesia's dominance at the Thailand Masters 2026. Prior to the final, the "Red and White" team had already secured two titles in men's doubles and mixed doubles due to all-Indonesian finals.
