TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian National Police's Corruption Eradication Corps, alongside the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Jakarta Metro Police, completed the handover of three alleged corruption cases to the Attorney General's Office (AGO).
"Today, the process continues with the handover of suspects, electronic evidence, and non-electronic evidence to the Attorney General's Office," said Deputy Chief of the Corruption Eradication Corps of the Indonesian National Police Brigadier General Boro Windu at the AGO building on Friday, July 17, 2026.
The three cases include the alleged corruption in PT Asuransi Sosial Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia (PT Asabri), the settlement of debts from PT Krakatau Steel's subsidiary, and the deviation in the procurement of coal supply for power plants operated by PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara.

Corruption in PT Asabri during 2020-2024
- The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the Jakarta Metro Police stated that there were allegations of corruption and money laundering in handling the case by state officials regarding PT Asabri.
- Two suspects have been named: former Deputy Attorney General on Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah, and a lawyer named Don Ritto.
- Febrie was charged with Article 12B of the Anti-Corruption Law and Article 3, Article 4 of the Anti-Money Laundering Law in conjunction with Article 607 Paragraph 1 letters a and b of the Criminal Code.
- Don Ritto was charged with violating Article 4 and/or Article 5 of Anti-Money Laundering Law or Article 607 Paragraph 1 letters b and/or c in conjunction with Article 20 of the Criminal Code.
Corruption in PT Krakatau Steel during 2023-2025
- No suspects have been named yet
- Still in the preliminary investigation stage
- The case is related to the settlement of debts from PT Krakatau Steel's subsidiary, PT CBS, to PT KNI.
Corruption in PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara during 2018-2026
- No suspects have been named yet
- Still in the preliminary investigation stage
- Regarding the alleged corruption and money laundering related to the procurement of coal supply for several power plants.
The evidence handed over to the prosecution today includes Rp6.059 billion in cash, 74 gold bars weighing approximately 74.01 kilograms, cash worth US$6.3 million, and Sin$16 million.
At AGO, these cases will be handled by a special team consisting of senior prosecutors. The attorney general's office has also issued a new Letter of Investigation Order (Sprindik) for these three cases.
