TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto held a special meeting at Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase in Jakarta on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, before departing for Australia for a bilateral visit.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated in a written release that "President Prabowo Subianto delayed his flight schedule by two hours to lead a special meeting at Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase in Jakarta on Tuesday, November 11, 2025."
Teddy added that the meeting, held before the President departed for Sydney, for a one-day state visit, was conducted behind closed doors and attended by several high-ranking state officials.
Attendees included Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, Head of the Financial Transactions Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) Ivan Yustiavandana, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
Teddy explained that during the meeting, President Prabowo emphasized the importance of accountable financial management for the genuine benefit of the people. He also stressed the need for all public funds to be used responsibly and in a timely manner.
"Every rupiah of public funds allocated must be on target and used within the specified period, including regional funds," the President stated.
Teddy also noted that President Prabowo instructed State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi to immediately coordinate across ministries to ensure that budget absorption runs optimally towards the end of the year.
"The President has also assigned the State Secretary to promptly coordinate and inspect the absorption of funds, including the use of transfers to regions managed by regional heads, towards the end of this year," Teddy concluded.
