TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto attended the celebration of the first anniversary of Danantara Indonesia Investment Management Agency. The event took place at the Danantara Building, Jakarta, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. According to Tempo's observation, Prabowo appeared wearing a cream safari shirt with a white jacket and a black peci (traditional cap).
During the event, Prabowo sat between the Chief Executive Officer Danantara Rosan Perkasa Roeslani and the Chair of the Danantara Board of Supervisors, Erick Thohir.
Also present at the event were members of the Red and White Cabinet. Among those present were Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
"This is Danantara's first anniversary. Of course, we are always grateful; we are still given health by Allah SWT, the Almighty God. We are also grateful for all the blessings given by the Almighty to our nation and country," said Prabowo on Wednesday evening.
Prabowo explained that Danantara is a consolidation of all the assets owned by the Indonesian nation. Therefore, Danantara has a heavy task and trust, namely to manage Indonesia's wealth.
"We named it Danantara, which stands for Daya Anagata Nusantara. Daya means power, energy. Anagata, the future. So Danantara must preserve and manage the power and energy of our nation for the future. That's how important Danantara is," he said.
President Prabowo officially launched Danantara Indonesia on Monday, February 24, 2025. Danantara is an independent institution under the President's office with a mandate to manage and optimize government investments as well as State-Owned Enterprises' (BUMN) assets.
