TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Apple reportedly plans to launch 15 new products, invigorating the technology market before the end of 2025. Following the release of five products in the first quarter of this year, the company is expected to introduce a range of new devices across its iPhone, Mac, iPad, accessories, and smart home technology lines.
In the smartphone category, Apple is anticipated to unveil the iPhone 17 series featuring significant changes. The Plus model will reportedly be discontinued and replaced by the iPhone Air, touted for its exceptionally thin and futuristic design. The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are also rumored to boast a more advanced camera system and the A19 Pro chip, along with increased battery capacity.
For its computer lineup, Apple is expected to debut its first products powered by the M5 chip, such as the MacBook Pro M5 and iPad Pro M5. Additionally, there are rumors of a Mac Pro update featuring the M3 Ultra chip and a potential new casing design.
Citing a report from 9to5Mac on Sunday, April 27, 2025, the arrival of the next-generation noise-canceling AirPods Pro 3 is also set to enhance the electronic accessories product showcase. These latest AirPods are also rumored to be equipped with heart rate monitoring capabilities and the newest H3 processor.
Users have also encountered leaks regarding updates to Apple's smartwatch offerings. For instance, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is speculated to feature 5G RedCap connectivity and hypertension sensors. Additionally, the Apple Watch Series 11 and Watch SE 3 are anticipated to incorporate more advanced health monitoring technology.
Concerning contemporary smart home technology, Apple is reportedly developing a new HomePod, envisioned as a central control hub underpinned by homeOS. The latest Apple TV 4K and HomePod mini 2 are expected to offer performance enhancements.
The latter half of 2025 is also projected to witness Apple's development and release of the AirTag 2, which will be powered by a novel Ultra Wideband chip. This iteration is said to include improvements to privacy features, alongside the introduction of the Studio Display 2, enhanced with vibrant MiniLED technology.
Apple is also rumored to be in the process of developing the next generation of its Vision Pro headset, potentially utilizing the M5 chip, as well as a professional-grade monitor, the Pro Display XDR 2. Should these plans proceed smoothly, the developmental outcomes of these two visually oriented products are likely to be announced towards the end of 2025 or, at the latest, in early the following year.
