TEMPO.CO, Jakarta — The gold price from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. or Antam plummeted today, Friday, May 9, 2025. Today's Antam gold price dropped by Rp27,000 compared to the previous day.
According to the Logam Mulia website, today's Antam gold is recorded at Rp1,926,000 per gram. Yesterday, the price of gold was recorded at Rp1,953,000 per gram. Antam gold briefly reached its highest level on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, breaking Rp2,039,000 per gram.
Meanwhile, today's Antam gold buyback price dropped by Rp27,000 to Rp1,775,000 per gram. Buyback transactions above Rp10,000,000 will be subject to a 1.5 percent final income tax or PPh 22.
This regulation follows the Amendment of the Finance Minister Regulation Number 112/PMK.03/2022 concerning the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) for individuals, business entities, and government agencies. This amendment also includes using the Population Identification Number (NIK) as NPWP. PPh 22 will be automatically deducted from the total transaction value of sales or buybacks.
