TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Falcon's Flight, the world's tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster, was inaugurated at the new Six Flags Qiddiya City in Saudi Arabia on December 31, 2025. Located about 40 minutes outside the Saudi capital, Riyadh, this park is Six Flags' first venture outside North America.
Neil Dwyer, the park's vice president of operations, said the roller coaster has a track over 4 kilometers long and a height of 195 meters. The ride reaches speeds of over 250 kilometers per hour and takes over 3 minutes. "We start a little bit slower just to get you warmed up, then we’re going to take you up the side of the cliff, and we’re going to bring you back down, then over the camel back — a huge structure — and straight back into the station," he said at the opening, as reported by People.
5 Record-Breaking Attractions
The park features 27 other attractions, with 5 record-breaking ones, including Falcon's Flight. It also has the Sirocco Tower, the tallest free-standing shooting tower in the world at a height of approximately 475 feet. The Iron Rattler, the world's tallest hybrid roller coaster. There's also Spitfire, the world's highest triple-inversion launch coaster, and Gyrospin, the world's tallest pendulum ride.
Families can enjoy many attractions designed for children, including classic carousels, bumper cars, and the highly immersive and interactive Enchanted Greenhouse dark ride.
Six Flags says there are also 18 attractions specifically designed for families and young visitors. "Hopefully, this will also bring many international and regional visitors to the park," said park president Brian Machamar at the opening ceremony.
Inside, visitors will experience the atmosphere of six unique areas, all centered around a lavish castle: Discovery Springs, Steam Town, Twilight Gardens, Valley of Fortune, Grand Exposition, and City of Thrills. Each area will offer various attractions, world-class dining, and separate shopping centers.
To enter this amusement park, visitors must purchase tickets starting from 325 Saudi Riyals (SAR) or around Rp1.4 million for adults and 275 SAR or around Rp1.2 million for children.
