TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to conduct a Special Plenary Cabinet Meeting at the Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta, this afternoon, May 5, 2025.
Tempo observed that several ministers, vice ministers, heads of agencies, and special envoys of the president began arriving at the Palace around 3:00 p.m. Jakarta time.
Among those seen arriving were the Head of the National Food and Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana; the Head of the Halal Product Guarantee Organizing Agency (BPJPH), Haikal Hasan; the Minister of Villages and Underdeveloped Regions Development, Yandri Susanto; and the Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf.
Also present were the Coordinating Minister for Legal Affairs, Human Rights, Immigration, and Law, Yusril Ihza Mahendra; the Minister of Law, Supratman Andi Agtas; the President's Special Envoy for the Young Generation and Arts Workers, Raffi Ahmad; and the Home Affairs Minister, Tito Karnavian. All attendees were donning white shirts.
The Head of BGN, Dadan Hindayana, confirmed that President Prabowo had invited all cabinet members to attend the Special Plenary Cabinet Meeting. However, he stopped short of elaborating on the specific topic to be discussed.
"It's a plenary session," he stated at the Presidential Palace Complex in Central Jakarta on Monday, May 5, 2025.
The previous Special Plenary Cabinet Meeting took place on Friday, March 21, 2025, and focused on preparations for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri.
