TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Marc Marquez clinched victory in the sprint race of MotoGP Qatar 2025 at the Lusail Circuit, early Sunday morning, April 13. The Ducati Lenovo rider has now won six out of seven races this season.

Marquez bounced back after failing to finish the previous race in America two weeks ago. Starting from pole position, he dominated and crossed the finish line as the fastest in the sprint race.

His younger brother, Alex Marquez, racing for Gresini Racing, finished second. It was his second-place finish for the seventh time in seven races. Meanwhile, Franco Morbidelli (VR46) claimed third place.

Marc Marquez's teammate, Francesco Bagnaia, performed poorly, finishing only eighth behind rookie Oi Ogura (Trackhouse).

Currently, Marc Marquez leads the MotoGP 2025 standings with 98 points. He overtakes Alex Marquez, who has 96 points, to the second position.

Franco Morbidelli is in third position with 62 points, trailing Bagnaia who has 77 points.
