TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bali, an Indonesian province renowned worldwide by international tourists, attracts visitors with its natural beauty and rich culture. Known as the "Island of the Gods," Bali offers a wide array of holiday destinations, from charming traditional villages and scenic waterfalls to breathtaking sunset viewpoints and stunning beaches.
During the 2025 Eid al-Fitr holiday, here are six popular tourist attractions in Bali that are busy with visitors:
1. Penglipuran Tourist Village
Located in Bangli Regency, Penglipuran Tourist Village is a well-liked tourist destination on the island due to its well-preserved environment.
According to the pulopanjang-puloampel.desa.id website, Penglipuran embraces a "living tourism" concept, showcasing the daily lives of its residents in traditional houses as a key attraction. The village is situated 60 kilometers from Ngurah Rai International Airport, with a travel time of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
2. Sekumpul Waterfall
The lush greenery, the powerful sound of cascading water, and the fresh air are the main draws of Sekumpul Waterfall. Located in Sawan District, Buleleng, this natural wonder is often called the most beautiful waterfall in Bali.
It features several individual falls with an average height of 80 meters. Besides being a relaxing spot, tourists can capture impressive photographs of the beautiful scenery combined with the misty atmosphere, creating a cinematic effect.
3. Tukad Cepung Waterfall
Known as the "Island of a Thousand Temples," Bali is popular among both domestic and international tourists for its diverse and beautiful natural attractions. One notable destination is Tukad Cepung Waterfall, situated in Banjar Penida Kelod Village, Tembuku District, Bangli Regency. The waterfall is approximately 8 kilometers from Bangli and 38.8 kilometers from Denpasar.
Citing the official website of the Bali Provincial Government, Tukad Cepung has a height of 15 meters and is uniquely hidden inside a cave rather than being directly exposed. It features a wide and gentle flow of water. To reach the waterfall, visitors need to walk for about 20 minutes.

Information from the website sunsetpointamedbali.com indicates that this location offers an infinity pool or a viewing deck where guests can enjoy a mix of local and international cuisine. It is located on Jalan Amed, Bunutan, Abang, Karangasem Regency.
5. Diamond Beach
Diamond Beach on Nusa Penida is often described as a hidden paradise in Bali, famous for its pristine white sandy beach, clear turquoise seawater, and dramatic towering cliffs.
The name "Diamond Beach" comes from its gem-like shape and the sparkling white sand under the sunlight. Although the descent to Diamond Beach can be challenging, the breathtaking views more than compensate for the effort. Activities available include swimming, snorkeling, and simply relaxing on the sand.
6. Kelingking Beach
Also located on Nusa Penida, Kelingking Beach is an iconic tourist spot known as "T-Rex Bay" because its cliffs resemble the head of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The beach is a popular destination due to its fine white sand and vibrant blue sea. From the top of the cliff, tourists can admire the stunning natural panorama, including the curved coastline, waves crashing against the rocks, and the expansive blue sky.
