For instance, the University of Indonesia (UI) climbed significantly from 206th to 189th globally. Similarly, Airlangga University, which was previously ranked 308th, has now jumped to the 287th position.
As reported on the QS Top Universities page, the QS WUR 2026 ranking evaluates over 1,500 universities across 100 countries worldwide. The top five universities globally are the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from the United States, followed by Imperial College London, Stanford University, Oxford University, and Harvard University.
2. Putin Affirms Ongoing Russian Support for Iran's Bushehr Reactor Project
Despite the Iran-Israel conflict escalating for the 9th day on Friday, Russia remains committed to working on the Bushehr nuclear reactor project in Iran. Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed this during the plenary session of the 28th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, as quoted by Antara.
