TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A major shift has taken place in the rankings of Indonesia's wealthiest individuals, according to the latest data released by Forbes on July 28, 2025.

In the updated version of The World's Real Time Billionaires list, Prajogo Pangestu has overtaken Low Tuck Kwong to become the richest person in Indonesia.

Prajogo, the founder of Barito Pacific, now holds a net worth of US$33.7 billion (approximately Rp551 trillion). His fortune grew by US$476 million or 1.43 percent from the previous day, pushing him to the top spot.
