TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) announced that the company has provided a loan of Rp3 trillion to its two subsidiaries, PT Medco LNG Indonesia (MLI) and PT Satria Raksa Buminusa, on October 20, 2025. This interest-free loan is valid until October 27, 2032.
Corporate Secretary of MedcoEnergi, Siendy K. Wisandana, stated that there is no impact on the company due to the loan. "There is no impact of the event, information, or material fact on operational activities," Siendy said in the disclosure of information at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), quoted on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
On July 3, 2025, MedoEnergi also provided a loan of US$150 million, or around Rp2.4 trillion, to its subsidiary, PT Mitra Energi Pelayaran.
On May 15, 2025, Medco Energi injected Rp33 billion into its subsidiary, PT Satria Raksa Buminusa (SRB). The loan to the security and consulting services company is valid until July 31, 2027, without interest.
Apart from providing loans, Medco Energi previously obtained a credit facility from Medco Cypress Tree Pte. Ltd. worth US$ 373.6 million, or around Rp6.07 billion. This affiliate transaction took place on June 10, 2025.
The loan will be used to pay for the tender offer of two senior notes valued at US$650 million with 7.375 percent interest due in 2026 and US$650 million with 6.375 percent interest due in 2027, which were issued by Medco Oak Tree Pte Ltd and Medo Bell Pte Ltd," he said in the disclosure of information at the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
