List of 18 Indonesian Stocks Removed From the MSCI Index

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A total of 18 Indonesian stocks have been removed from the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) index. According to the announcement from MSCI's rebalancing results on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, six stocks have been removed from the Global Standard Index.

One of the six stocks, PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT) or Alfamart, has been included in the Global Small Cap Index. Additionally, 13 stocks have been removed from the Global Small Cap Index. This adjustment will take effect after the trading closes on May 29, 2026.

Interim Chief Executive Officer of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Jeffrey Hendrik, stated that these adjustments are short-term consequences of the reform efforts undertaken by the Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) and the capital market regulator. He said, "We are optimistic that in the long run, this will have a positive impact," when contacted on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
