TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's Coordinating Ministry for the Economy reported that the realization of transactions from three national shopping programs held in December 2025 and January 2026 reached Rp122.28 trillion. This figure surpasses the previous target of Rp110 trillion.

The three programs, which were held in collaboration with shopping centers, are National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas), Shop Only in Indonesia (BINA), and EPIC Sale. The Spokesperson for the Economic Affairs Coordinator Haryo Limanseto stated that the success of the three agendas at the end of 2025 is evidence of domestic household consumption resilience.

"Exceeding the target indicates the increasing public confidence and the important role of local products in the national supply chain," said Haryo in an official statement on Monday, January 12, 2026.

The Harbolnas program took place from December 10-16, 2025, generating Rp36.4 trillion in transactions. Of those transactions, Rp16.6 trillion came from the sale of local products. This program collaborated with the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) and involved micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME), as well as national digital platforms.

Furthermore, the BINA Program collaborated with the Association of Retailers and Tenants of Indonesian Shopping Centers (Hippindo) and the Association of Indonesian Shopping Center Managers (APPBI). The total transaction realization reached Rp119.3 trillion throughout 2025.

The government also organized a national retail program with the Indonesian Retailers Association (Aprindo). The total transaction realization from this program last year was Rp240.12 trillion. Meanwhile, the EPIC Sale Nataru 2025 held from December 1-31, 2025, recorded transactions worth Rp54.88 trillion.

The government will continue the national shopping program. It is believed that this program can maintain purchasing power and expand access to the domestic product market, including MSME.
