TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Comic Frontier, or Comifuro 21, one of Indonesia’s largest gatherings for Japanese pop-culture enthusiasts, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 15–16, 2025, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD in Tangerang.

The biannual event is set to showcase hundreds of independent creator booths alongside a wide range of community-led activities.

Often described as a creative hub for independent artists, Comifuro features self-published works spanning illustrations, manga, novels, crafts, and other original creations.

According to Ticket2u, the event also includes a lively doujin market and an extensive lineup of programs, from cosplay parades and company showcases to musical performances and talk shows on the growth of the creative industry, particularly local comics and animation.

The doujin market consistently draws large crowds as creator circles present new works from various fandoms. Meanwhile, the main stage remains active with karaoke sessions, acoustic performances, anisong concerts, and appearances by virtual idols and DJs.

How to Get to Comic Frontier 21

Comifuro 21 will be held in Hall 10 of ICE BSD, which is accessible through several public transportation options. The most convenient route is via the KRL Commuter Line, with Cisauk Station as the final stop.

From there, visitors can take one of eight free shuttle buses operating from 07:00 to 21:30 WIB. The shuttle also transports attendees back to the Cisauk Intermoda Terminal.

Another option is the Transjakarta S11 Corridor (Jelambar–Serpong), with stops at BSD City—1.9 kilometers from ICE BSD—or Giant BSD, located 3.4 kilometers away. From these points, visitors can continue using ride-hailing services.

Ticket Information for Comic Frontier 21

Every visitor must have a wristband ticket to enter Comic Frontier 21. Tickets are exclusively sold through the Ticket2U.id platform, the event’s official ticketing partner. Organizers strongly advise against purchasing tickets from unofficial sources. Updates and announcements are available on Comic Frontier’s official accounts on Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).

Ticket sales run from October 18 to November 16, 2025. Wristband exchange is available from 08:00 to 18:15 WIB, with gates closing at 06:30 WIB.

Ticket prices start at Rp 75,000 for a one-day pass, or Rp 130,000 for a one-day pass bundled with official Comifuro 21 merchandise. Prices include a 10 percent government tax but exclude platform service fees.

Comic Frontier 21 tickets are non-refundable once the transaction is completed. Refunds are also not provided for visitors who arrive after gates have closed.
