TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has launched a special tax and customs complaint service called "Lapor Pak Purbaya" (Report, Pak Purbaya) starting today, Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Complaints can be submitted through the WhatsApp number 082240406600.
Purbaya stated that the public can report all issues regarding taxes, customs, services, and various obstacles. "Tax issues, or misconduct by employees, can be sent to my WhatsApp," said Purbaya when met at the Directorate General of Taxes office, Jakarta, October 15, 2025.
He said that his team will accept all public reports for further action. Upon receiving each report, he stated that WhatsApp will automatically send a response.
Purbaya stated that "Lapor Pak Purbaya" will continue until there are no more tax and customs issues. "Later, we will validate until no one complains," he said.
President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Purbaya as the new finance minister, replacing Sri Mulyani Indrawati on September 8, 2025. Several policies have been implemented since the inauguration. One of these policies is the placement of Rp200 trillion in government funds in state-owned banks.
