TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts rain in Jakarta later this afternoon. In today's weather forecast on Saturday, July 5, 2025, BMKG also mentioned that light- to moderate-intensity rain is likely to fall over surrounding areas such as Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi.
West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta are expecting light rain this afternoon, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. The same weather is expected in Thousand Islands at 4 p.m.
The overall air temperature in Jakarta ranges between 24-30 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds range from 1 to 15 kilometers per hour.
In West Java, light rain accompanied by lightning is expected to occur in Bogor Regency from 1:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. Drizzles are also forecast to wet Depok City, Bogor City, Bekasi Regency, and Bekasi City later in the afternoon.
According to BMKG, the air temperature in Bogor Regency today ranges between 19-30 degrees Celsius, while other regions will see 20-32 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds are estimated at 6-11 kilometers per hour.
Light rain will also greet Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, and South Tangerang City today. The air temperature in these three areas range between 24-31 degrees Celsius.
