TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Bali Tourism Office launched the Bali Calendar of Events 2026 on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The event calendar includes 56 activities intended to attract both domestic and international tourists.

In detail, the island is planning 40 cultural events, seven sports events, two MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events, one fashion event, four music events, and two culinary events.

"All of them are designed to strengthen Bali's reputation as a quality tourism destination that is beautiful but also rich in cultural values, spirituality, and local wisdom," said the Head of Bali Tourism Office, I Wayan Sumarajaya.

He emphasized that future events in Bali will prioritize the quality of tourist experiences, cultural preservation, and environmental sustainability, rather than the number of tourist visits.

The events are also spread across the island to achieve an equal distribution of tourism to prevent overcrowding in specific time periods or locations.
