TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Angga Raka Prabowo as Indonesia's Head of the Presidential Communication Office and Muhammad Qodari as Presidential Chief of Staff in a ceremony at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday afternoon, September 17, 2025.

The appointments are formalized under Presidential Decrees No. 96B/2025 and 97B/2025, which also stipulate the dismissal of Hasan and Anto, as well as adjustments to other key posts, including deputy chiefs of staff and special presidential advisors for public order and police reform.

During the ceremony, Prabowo personally led the swearing-in of his new aides.

“By Allah, I swear that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will uphold all laws and regulations with utmost responsibility in service to the nation and the state. In carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of the office and work with full responsibility,” the oath stated.

Following the oath, the newly inaugurated officials signed the official documents, witnessed directly by President Prabowo.

This marks the third cabinet reshuffle under Prabowo’s leadership. Just over a week earlier, on September 8, he carried out a sweeping second reshuffle that replaced four ministers and one deputy minister.

At that time, he dismissed Budi Gunawan (Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs), Budi Arie (Minister of Cooperatives), Dito Ariotedjo (Minister of Youth and Sports), Sri Mulyani (Minister of Finance), and Abdul Kadir Karding (Minister for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers/P2MI).

Their successors included Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa as Finance Minister, Mukhtarudin as Minister of P2MI, and Ferry Juliantono as Cooperatives Minister. Prabowo also created a new portfolio, appointing Mochamad Irfan Yusuf as Minister of Hajj and Umrah and Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak as Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah.
