Indonesian Musicians under 88rising's Management
Previously, several Indonesian musicians have successfully pursued careers under the management of 88rising. Rich Brian, NIKI, Warren Hue, Stephanie Poetri, and Devinta Trista. Rich Brian became the first Indonesian musician to break into the international music market through a collaboration with the music label 88rising. His name gained widespread recognition after his debut song, Dat $tick, attracted much attention, leading to his official joining of 88rising in 2016.
Niki Zefanya, or NIKI, was initially introduced and invited to join by Rich Brian before officially signing a contract with 88rising in 2017. The singer of Backburner also became one of the 88rising musicians who successfully gained popularity on a global scale.
Another Indonesian female singer is Devinta Trista. The singer from Sidoarjo achieved recognition by releasing a single entitled Fall Into You with 88rising. She seized this golden opportunity after winning in the Indonesia Creative Incorporated (ICINC) competition, a collaboration between the Indonesian government and 88rising to seek talented young musicians from the country.
In addition, Stephanie Poetri, the daughter of singer Titi DJ, was already well-known in Indonesia before joining 88rising in 2019. Stephanie also collaborated with Jackson Wang to sing her hit song, I Love You 3000. Lastly, there is Warren Hue, who joined the international music label 88rising in late May 2021. His presence adds to the talented individuals from Indonesia who have broken into the global music industry through 88rising.
