TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The private residence of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General's Office, Febrie Adriansyah, is being closely guarded by TNI (Indonesian Armed Forces) soldiers. The house is located on Radio I Street, Kramat Pela, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Friday, 1 August 2025.

Based on Tempo's observation, there are 5-10 TNI personnel guarding around Febrie's residence. The soldiers are wearing complete camouflage uniforms. They also wear berets indicating their unit, either green or purple berets.

The TNI personnel are seen constantly carrying weapons. One of them even never puts down his weapon. The soldiers are stationed at two posts near the prosecutor's house.

The first post is located in the garden, right across the side gate of the house. Meanwhile, the second guard post is in front of the South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Service Building, which is about 2 meters from Febrie's residence.

According to a nearby merchant, the strict guarding by the TNI personnel has only been carried out in the past few days. "I was also surprised," said the merchant who declined to be named on 1 August 2025.

The merchant recounted that Febrie had just left his house in a car. The Jampidsus' departure was escorted by several cars following from behind. The escorting vehicles were allegedly carrying TNI soldiers.

Tempo has tried to get confirmation regarding the TNI's guarding from Febrie. However, by the time this news is written, there has been no response from the concerned parties. Tempo also sought confirmation from the Head of the Attorney General's Legal Information Center, Anang Supriatna, but there was still no response given.

Based on information gathered by Tempo, the tight security escort by TNI soldiers is related to the search efforts that occurred at Febrie's house on Thursday night. The search was conducted by the General Crimes Detective Directorate of the Metro Jaya Regional Police.

The search attempt was allegedly unsuccessful. When the police arrived at the location, the search was actually hindered by TNI personnel. In addition to Febrie's residence, it is rumored that the police also visited his cafe in the Cipete area, South Jakarta. The cafe is managed by FYH. F who was previously arrested by the police from an upscale apartment in the Mega Kuningan area, South Jakarta, in a case of kidnapping and obstruction. However, the TNI took F from the police headquarters.

Tempo has sought confirmation regarding these search and arrest efforts from the Chief of the Public Relations Bureau of the National Police Headquarters Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko. "I don't know (about the search)," he told Tempo.

Based on Tempo's records, Febrie Adriansyah also experienced surveillance by the National Police's Special Detachment 88 on Sunday, 19 May 2024. Two Tempo sources familiar with the incident recounted that at that time, Febrie arrived at a restaurant for dinner at one of the French restaurants in Cipete, South Jakarta, at around 20:00-21:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time).
