TEMPO.CO, JakartaTempo and IDNFinancials once again recognized 75 listed companies included in the Indeks52 during the third Indeks52 Appreciation Night, held at the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta, on Friday, September 19, 2025. The annual recognition not only serves as an award ceremony but also as a networking platform for issuers, aimed at boosting the growth of Indonesia’s capital market and acknowledging the contributions of public companies that have demonstrated outstanding performance.

Indeks52 represents a selection of public companies that showcase strong, healthy, and prospective performance. The recognition highlights four categories: Main Index, High Dividend, High Growth, and High Market Capitalization.

Chief Executive Officer of PT Info Media Digital (Tempo Digital), Wahyu Dhyatmika, emphasized that the Indeks52 Appreciation Night serves as a reference point for investors seeking potential investment opportunities. “This event honors companies that have achieved exceptional performance and continued positive growth in their businesses despite recent economic turbulence,” said Wahyu. He added that the sustainability of Indeks52 reflects the organizers’ consistency in monitoring listed companies. “Since its inception, Indeks52 has aimed to become a credible reference for investors in the stock exchange. We have stayed true to this purpose to enhance the quality of our capital market,” he remarked.

In addition to the awards, Tempo and IDNFinancials hosted a special discussion titled BRICS 2025: Diplomacy, Business, Leadership – Navigating Global Challenges and Strengthening Cooperation with the Global South and BRICS. The panel featured four ambassadors: Russian Federation Ambassador Sergei Gennadievich Tolchenov, Indian Ambassador Sandeep Chakravorty, Chinese Ambassador Wang Lutong, and South African Ambassador Mpetjane Kgaogelo Lekgoro.

Ambassador Tolchenov highlighted the close ties between Indonesia and Russia, particularly in strengthening economic cooperation in trade, investment, and industry. “We are committed to advancing adequate investment and developing projects in infrastructure, energy, and transportation,” he said. As proof, Indonesia’s state-owned investment company Danantara and the Russian Direct Investment Fund signed a joint investment platform worth USD2.9 billion. “We agreed to ensure that trade between our nations continues to grow,” he added.

Indian Ambassador Sandeep Chakravorty shared that India is preparing a global connect program focusing on expanding job opportunities and education. “Through a robust digital public infrastructure, India and its national companies are ready to deliver global solutions that connect the world of work, education, and cross-country collaboration,” he said.

Chinese Ambassador Wang Lutong underlined China’s role as part of the Global South and its success in pursuing its own path of modernization. “We welcome all parties to take part in China’s development, contribute to common progress, and strengthen Global South collaboration,” he explained.

Meanwhile, South African Ambassador Mpetjane Kgaogelo Lekgoro affirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening Global South cooperation under BRICS. He stressed the importance of focusing on the digital economy and sustainable development. “South Africa emphasizes the importance of inter-country collaboration in the Global South, with the ultimate goal of advancing shared interests and driving positive global change,” he concluded.
