CANTIKA.COM, Jakarta - After a year of internal conflict and uncertainty, the K-pop group NewJeans has finally reunited under the management of ADOR. This decision came shortly after the Central District Court of Seoul's ruling on October 30, 2025, which confirmed the validity of the exclusive contract between NewJeans and ADOR until 2029.
On Wednesday (12/11), the first two members, Haerin and Hyein, announced their certainty to return to ADOR. A few hours later, the other three members, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle also confirmed a similar decision through separate official statements.
"Hello. We are Minji, Hanni, and Danielle. After thorough discussion, we have decided to return to ADOR. One member is currently in Antarctica, which caused a delay in our announcement, and ADOR has not responded, so we were forced to release this separate statement. We will continue to deliver sincere music and performances. Thank you," wrote the three of them.
This step marks the end of the long-standing dispute between NewJeans and HYBE, the parent company of ADOR, which began after the dismissal of former CEO Min Hee-jin in 2024. The conflict had caused the group's activities to be halted and the members to be in a difficult position amid public scrutiny.
Now, with all members back under one management, ADOR is committed to fully support NewJeans' promotional activities. The five-member group is also reportedly set to resume music projects that were delayed during the legal dispute.
The news of NewJeans' return has been warmly welcomed by fans, who have been anticipating the reunion of this accomplished group. For many, this decision symbolizes reconciliation and a new beginning for one of the most influential K-pop groups of their generation.
Shining Again in a New Chapter
After enduring a period of trials, NewJeans is ready to return with new energy. ADOR stated that they will fully support every step of the group, including music production, promotion, and upcoming performances.
For the fans, referred to as Bunnies, the return of NewJeans is not just a piece of good news, but also proof of the strength and solidarity of the members. Now, all eyes are on the next move of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, whether a major music comeback will be announced soon?
