TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Lossless audio feature from Spotify will soon be available for Indonesian customers. Without compression, users can enjoy music in 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC quality, which enhances the sound quality of nearly all songs on Spotify.
The Managing Director of Spotify Southeast Asia, Gustav Back, said that this feature is designed for users who seek higher audio quality than standard streaming. In a written statement, he said that Spotify offers more relevant choices according to one's needs. One of these choices is listening to high-quality music with Lossless, quoted from Antara on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
The Audio Lossless system is available in the Spotify application for mobile, desktop, tablet, and other devices that support Spotify Connect. Users in Indonesia who subscribe to the Premium Platinum package can use this feature.
To activate it, users only need to tap the profile icon, select settings, and change the media quality to Lossless. Spotify also recommends using a WiFi connection, wired devices such as headphones or other speakers, and non-Bluetooth connections like Spotify Connect to maximize audio quality.
