TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Liverpool has confirmed that they will hold a parade to celebrate their victory in the Premier League on Monday, May 26th, following their final league match against Crystal Palace at Anfield.
This announcement came after Liverpool officially sealed their 20th league title in a match against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, which they won convincingly with a score of 5-1.
"Liverpool FC's victory parade will be held in the city on Monday, May 26th after The Reds secured their 20th league title," Liverpool's official website stated on Tuesday.
"The leader of Liverpool City Council, Councilor Liam Robinson, has formally invited the club to take part in the victory parade to celebrate the Premier League triumph, and LFC has officially accepted the offer," they added.
The champion's parade is scheduled to start at 14:30 local time and will travel along a 15-kilometer route, taking approximately three to five hours.
Liverpool revealed that the parade route will be the same as the one used when they won the Champions League in 2019, as well as the League Cup and FA Cup in 2022.
The parade route will begin at Allerton Maze, then move north towards Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street, The Strand, and conclude at Blundell Street.
As in previous years, Liverpool advises supporters to line the route to enjoy the parade. They also emphasize the prohibition of fireworks or flares to ensure the safety of all attendees.
Those intending to line the route and cheer the team on should be prepared for city congestion, not only on Monday but also in the days leading up to it as Liverpool will host the major music event, Radio 1 Big Weekend.
"We are delighted to formally invite Liverpool Football Club to parade around the city on May 26th. Liverpool's victory parade is more than just about football; it is a celebration of our city's pride, spirit, and community," Robinson said.
