TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Google has introduced Veo 3, the latest artificial intelligence (AI) generative technology designed to automatically produce videos from text commands. Featuring capabilities such as generating original audio, supporting 4K resolution, and delivering realistic visual effects, Veo 3 is being recognized as a significant advancement in the AI video generator industry.
According to a report by Designboom, Veo 3 can create cinematic videos based solely on text descriptions. The videos often feature a blurred background, similar to the portrait mode found on smartphones, which aesthetically highlights the main subject.
This effect gives AI-generated videos a more professional look, making them attractive to content creators, filmmakers, and professionals in the digital creative industry.
In addition, Google has launched Flow, a companion application for Veo 3. Flow enables users to control camera movements, angles, and scene transitions, and even expand existing shots to create more dynamic visuals.
However, full access to all these features is available only to premium subscribers of the Google AI Ultra service, which costs approximately 125 dollars per month.
Veo 3 Advantages: Text-to-Video and Synchronized Audio
As reported by Reccloud, Veo 3 demonstrates an improved ability to understand natural language and translate it into videos that closely match the creator’s intentions. This feature, known as improved prompt adherence, means the AI’s response to text commands is more accurate and contextually appropriate.
Additionally, Veo 3 offers preview images of characters, objects, and backgrounds to help users guide the production process before final video rendering.
One of the most notable advantages of Veo 3 is its capacity to generate original audio. The AI can automatically produce sound effects, character dialogues synchronized with lip movements, and background sounds.
This functionality not only enhances the realism of AI videos but also simplifies the production process by eliminating the need to add audio during post-production.
4K Resolution and Physical Realism Set New Standards for AI Video
A review by Comfyonline states that Veo 3 has the ability to produce videos in resolutions up to 4K, matching the standards commonly used in the film and advertising industries. This is a substantial improvement over the previous version, Veo 2, which supported output resolutions ranging from 720p to 1080p.
Beyond high resolution, Veo 3 has been enhanced to better mimic real-world physics, including natural lighting, object shadows, and more lifelike movements. As a result, the videos it produces have smoother quality and a more authentic appearance, closely resembling footage captured with real cameras.
