
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Combined Stock Prices Index (IHSG) weakened by 0.38 percent to 7,520.9 in the first trading session today, Thursday, July 31, 2025. The United States stock market also mostly weakened after the U.S. central bank (The Fed) held its benchmark interest rate on July 30, 2025.
Until the end of the first trading session today, 259 stocks strengthened, while 376 weakened, and 209 stagnated. "With a transaction value reaching Rp8.8 trillion, the trading frequency was 1.15 million times, and the trading volume was 204.4 million lots," explained the Analyst Team from Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia on Thursday afternoon, July 31, 2025.
The shares of the hospitality issuer PT Bukit Uluwatu Villa (BUVA), which had been released from stock trading suspension, became the most actively traded stock in today's first session, with a transaction frequency reaching 35,828 times. This was followed by the issuers BBCA and ANTM, each with 34,524 and 28,875 times, respectively.
In terms of volume, the Gojek Tokopedia (GoTo) shares were the most traded in the first session today, with a trading volume of 29.5 million, followed by BKSL and BUVA shares with 14.7 million and 8.9 million lots, respectively.
The cyclical consumer sector index (IDXCYCLIC) became the sectoral index that strengthened the most in the first session today, with a 0.8 percent increase, followed by the non-cyclical consumer sector index (IDXNONCYC), which strengthened by 0.5 percent.
Meanwhile, the infrastructure sector index (IDXINFRA) became the deepest declining index in the first session today, at minus 1.5 percent, followed by the basic industry sector index (IDXBASIC) at minus 1.3 percent, and the transportation sector index (IDXTRANS) at minus 1.2 percent.
The five issuers with the highest increase or top gainers based on the percentage increase in the first session today included KUAS (+33.3 percent to Rp68 per share); BRRC (+29.3 percent to Rp75 per share); SCNP (+28 percent to Rp210 per share); BUVA (+27.8 percent to Rp248 per share); CGAS (+25.7 percent to Rp122 per share).
Meanwhile, the five issuers with the deepest decline or top losers based on the percentage decrease included OKAS (-14.6 percent to Rp244 per share); VAST (-14.5 percent to Rp170 per share); SWID (-11 percent to Rp97 per share); BWPT (-10.1 percent to Rp115 per share); TBLA (-9.7 percent to Rp790 per share).
