TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA) reported that the number of Paylater service users reached 189,000 customers as of December 2025. This figure represents a 16 percent increase compared to the same period the previous year.

BCA Executive Vice President of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility Hera F. Heryn stated that the growth of the Paylater service aligns with industry dynamics. “BCA’s Paylater performance through the end of 2025 continues to demonstrate healthy growth,” Hera told Tempo on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

According to her, performance improvements tend to occur during specific periods such as year-end, Ramadan, and the lead-up to Eid al-Fitr.

Hera noted that growth is evident during periods of increased demand for retail transactions, mobility, and customer spending, including for booking airline tickets and hotels.

In addition to the growth in the number of users, the outstanding value or total financing of BCA’s Paylater service reached Rp330 billion by the end of 2025.

The BCA Paylater service is used for transactions via QRIS and applied for through the myBCA app. This scheme has become one of the short-term financing options offered by banks amid the rising trend of digital payments.

BCA stated that credit disbursement through this service continues to be conducted in accordance with the principles of prudence and risk management.
