Joyland is a biannual music and arts festival held in Jakarta and Bali. The festival is committed to environmental sustainability, including minimizing waste.

The event will take place from November 29 to 30, 2025, at Senayan Green Field in Jakarta. Tickets range in price from Rp618,000 to Rp1,088,000.

2. Don't Play Play Gen Z Festival

The Don't Play Play Gen Z Festival is the first and only concert that combines the world of podcasts with live music performances on land and in the air. Designed specifically for a Gen Z audience, it features lighthearted discussions by popular podcasters interspersed with energetic performances by young artists. The festival will take place from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time) on November 29-30, 2025, at the East Parking Lot of Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium in Jakarta. Tickets range in price from Rp65,000 to Rp99,000.

3. Bright Island Fest 2025

This six-day festival on Tidung Island features a lineup of exciting events, including music performances by Dara Fu, Diskopatia, Monkey Boots, Fema Bintara Puntura, Wina Gacera, Vanny Riz, Namy Budaya, Defitrees, Gangstar Salrama, Pantai Selatan, Gudtings, and Pemuja Sinarmas. There will also be free time for dancing and a playground full of entertainment that captures the island vibe, with three special stages themed around spirit, groove, and island vibes.

The event will take place from November 25 to 30, 2025, on Tidung Island in the Thousand Islands. Admission is free.

4. Jakarta Pet Expo

The Jakarta Pet Expo is an international trade fair for pet care products. It provides a business platform for over 3,000 industry professionals through exhibitions, conferences, business forums, and matchmaking sessions. The expo is also open to the public, who can shop for pet food and engage in playful interactions. Highlights include trends in the Indonesian pet market, projected to reach US$1.4 billion by 2027.

The event will take place from November 26-29, 2025, at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran in Jakarta.

5. The Red Shades of the Alhambra Exhibition

In collaboration with the Spanish Embassy, Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife, and the Jakarta Cultural Office, this exhibition presents a visual interpretation of the architectural elegance of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain—a masterpiece of Islamic heritage—through artworks, geometric documentation, and installations that explore the building's historical, philosophical, and aesthetic significance.

It will take place from November 11, 2025, to January 10, 2026, at the Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics in Kota Tua, Jakarta. Admission is Rp5,000–Rp10,000.

6. Mbalik 2025 (Basoeki Abdullah Museum in Public Space)

Mbalik is an initiative that brings museums back to the community through art and education in public spaces. Inspired by the Javanese word mbalik, meaning "to return," the initiative features a mini-exhibition titled ARTway: Basoeki Abdullah and His Journey, which traces the legendary painter's life from Solo to Europe. There will also be a mini-workshop and an exhibition of works.

The event will take place from November 17-30, 2025, at the Fatmawati Indomaret MRT Station, West Intermediate Gate C in Jakarta. Tickets cost Rp5,000 for Indonesian citizens and Rp25,000 for international tourists.

7. Arthefact Exhibition: Srivijaya - The Maritime Glory of the Archipelago

This exhibition invites visitors to explore the history of the Sriwijaya Kingdom as a center of trade, shipping, and cultural exchange in ancient Southeast Asia. Through artifacts, interactive maps, and visual narratives, the exhibition celebrates Indonesia's maritime heritage.

The exhibition is on display at the Jakarta Maritime Museum until March 26, 2026. Admission: Rp5,000–Rp15,000
