
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) weakened by 0.05 percent to the level of 6,861.7 in the first trading session today, Monday, July 7, 2025. The weakening of the IHSG is in line with the decline of European and Asian stock exchanges amid the controversy over U.S. import tariffs.
By the end of the first trading session today, 245 stocks gained, while 338 declined, and 243 stagnated. "With a transaction value reaching Rp3.54 trillion, a trading frequency of 519,858 times, and a trading volume of 75.8 million lots," as presented by the Analyst Team of Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia on Monday afternoon, July 7, 2025.
Shares of the GPS device manufacturer, PT Sumber Sinergi Makmur (IOTF), became the most actively traded stock in today's first session with a transaction frequency of 47,161 times. Followed by LABA trading 15,411 times and PTMP shares traded 12,713 times.
In terms of volume, GOTO or Gojek Tokopedia shares became the most traded in the first session today with a trading volume of 7.1 million lots. Followed by IOTF shares with 6.48 million lots and PTMP shares with 2.6 million lots.
In terms of sectors, the cyclical consumer sector index (IDXCYCLIC) became the sectoral index with the highest increase in the first session today at 1.0 percent. Followed by the technology sector index (IDXTECHNO) at 0.1 percent and the finance sector index (IDXFINANCE) at 0.1 percent.
Meanwhile, the health sector index (IDXHEALTH) posted the deepest decline of any index in today's first session, falling 0.6 percent. Followed by the basic industry sector index (IDXBASIC) at minus 0.4 percent and the property sector index (IDXPROPERTY) at minus 0.4 percent.
The top five gainers based on percentage increase in the first session today include GRIA (+31.1 percent to Rp118 per share); SHID (+25 percent to Rp1,075 per share); VICO (+22.9 percent to Rp177 per share); GTBO (+13.2 percent to Rp240 per share); and LABA (+11.1 percent to Rp280 per share).
Meanwhile, the top five companies with the deepest decline based on percentage decrease include IOTF (-14.6 percent to Rp76 per share); INPS (-14.4 percent to Rp130 per share); CSMI (-13.1 percent to Rp1,125 per share); ARGO (-13 percent to Rp730 per share); YUPI (-12.4 percent to Rp2,040 per share).
