TEMPO.CO, JakartaPink Beach, known for its pink-colored sands, has been named the most beautiful beach in the world by Forbes travel experts. This beach tops the list, followed by Le Morne in Mauritius, Boulders Beach in South Africa, Yalong Bay in China, and Sunrise Beach in Thailand.

As reported by Forbes, this year's best beaches surpass the perfection of postcards-these beaches are immersive, elemental, and often surprising. To compile this, travel editor Lewis Nunn asked Explore Worldwide to share the most beautiful beaches for 2025. These beaches were selected based on recommendations from a network of expert guides from around the world who have discovered hidden gems in remote locations.

List of the World's most beautiful beaches, according to travel experts and Forbes

1. Pink Beach, Indonesia

Pink Beach on Komodo Island is located in East Nusa Tenggara, between Sumbawa and Flores. This beach boasts a stretch of pink sand where colorful coral fish swim and starfish cling to the coral reef. The pink sand is made up of crushed coral fragments and microscopic foraminifera.

Behind the coastline are the lush, green hills of Komodo National Park. This park is listed by UNESCO as the habitat of the Komodo dragon. This beach is often visited by boats from Labuan Bajo for snorkeling or exploring its unique shoreline.

2. Le Morne, Mauritius

Nestled beneath dramatic cliffs on the southwest coast of Mauritius, Le Morne Beach has fine sand and coconut trees. The beach is a playground for kite surfers. Snorkeling is a must-try activity there. Visitors can see underwater waterfalls, an optical illusion where rapidly flowing sand appears to cascade into the depths of the sea endlessly.

3. Boulders Beach, South Africa

Situated on the Cape Peninsula in southeastern Cape Town, South Africa, Boulders Beach spreads fine white sand among granite boulders and perfectly colored jade waters. This beach is home to a colony of African penguins that waddle in the shallow waters, accompanied by their distinctive vocalizations. Visitors can wander through winding wooden boardwalks past vegetated dunes, lush vegetation, and beautiful vantage points where dassies sunbathe and Cape cormorants dive into the horizon.

4. Yalong Bay, China

Yalong Bay, dubbed as China's Hawaii, curves like a dragon's smile on the southern coast of Hainan. Its ivory-colored sands stretch into sparkling waters. Along the coastline, coconut palms sway above resorts and tropical gardens. At sunset, the horizon turns reddish with coral light as fishing boats pass the silhouette of Longtou Rock.

5. Sunrise Beach, Thailand

Stretching along the eastern coast of Koh Lipe in the Strait of Malacca, Sunrise Beach welcomes the morning with golden light reflecting on its fine sand and casuarina trees. The sea is crystal clear. Along the coast, there are plenty of bars, restaurants, and resort options.
