TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto has officially issued Presidential Decree No. 34 of 2025, which sets the total cost of organizing the Hajj (BPIH) for the year 1447 Hijri/2026. This cost is derived from the Hajj Travel Cost and the benefits allocated to pilgrims.
A copy of the Presidential Decree, received in Jakarta on Friday, December 5, 2025, confirms that the determination of this BPIH follows up on Law Number 14 of 2025 and Law Number 34 of 2014 concerning the Management of Hajj Financial Affairs.
The President has set the BPIH for 2026 based on the pilgrim's departure point (embarkation). The figures are presented below, along with the specific amount paid by the regular Hajj pilgrim for each respective embarkation point:

The allocated benefits derived from the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) for regular Hajj pilgrims reached Rp6.69 trillion. These funds are utilized to cover various essential service components, including accommodation, consumption, transportation, services in Arafah-Muzdalifah-Mina, pilgrim protection, pilgrim guidance, as well as public services in both Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, the benefits allocated for special Hajj pilgrims are set at Rp7.23 billion.
The Presidential Decree also outlines the mechanism for regular Hajj pilgrims, regional Hajj officials, and Hajj and Umrah Guidance Group (KBIHU) supervisors to deposit the BPIH through a receiving bank designated by the BPKH.
The President further mandates the Minister of Hajj and Umrah to stipulate the necessary technical provisions for implementing this decision. Presidential Decree No. 34 of 2025 took effect on November 13, 2025. The government affirms its ongoing commitment to continuously enhance the quality of Hajj organization, focusing on service excellence, financial accountability, and pilgrim protection.
