The Provincial Government of Jakarta has opened 1,000 job vacancies for firefighters. The registration period is for three days starting today, Tuesday, August 12th until August 14th, 2025.
The recruitment is aimed at prospective Individual Service Providers (PJLP) for the 2025 Firefighter and Rescue Worker positions. Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung previously stated that the registration is open to the entire community. 'But the main priority remains the residents of Jakarta. If asked who is the priority, it is still the residents of Jakarta,' said Pramono after attending the Inauguration of the Indonesian Ulema Council Building in South Jakarta on Thursday, August 7th, 2025.
According to the official Jakarta Provincial portal, the required firefighters are divided into five administrative city regions. They are allocated as follows: 202 for West Jakarta, 187 for Central Jakarta, 211 for South Jakarta, 219 for East Jakarta, and 181 for North Jakarta.
General Requirements
- Indonesian Citizen, preferably with Jakarta Special Capital Region Identity Card (KTP)
- At least 18 years old and has a Tax Identification Number (NPWP)
- Registered as an active participant in BPJS
Special Requirements
- Physically and mentally healthy males
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Minimum height of 165 cm
- Not color blind, not afraid of heights, and does not have a fear of darkness/closed spaces
- No tattoos or piercings
Registration Procedure
- Registration is open from August 12th to August 14th, 2025
- The results of administrative evaluation will be announced on August 15th, 2025
- Document verification will take place on August 19th-22nd and will be announced on August 25th, 2025.
- Physical tests will be conducted from August 26th to September 12th, 2025
- The final announcement will be made on September 18th, 2025
- Contract signing will be done on October 1st, 2025.
