TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Seattle-born band Foo Fighters appears to be teasing fans after a cryptic Instagram post from promoter Frontier Touring surfaced. And judging by the clues, the message seems to signal a headline tour aimed squarely at Australian fans.

Shared on December 1, the image shows Foo Fighters’ signature logo displayed above The Winston pub and Eagle Hawk Inn in North Hobart, captioned “Give me a reason, show me a sign.”

The post’s caption also includes a link that leads directly to a countdown page set to end at 5 pm AEDT, placed just under the band’s iconic logo and atop the phrase “Big news incoming.”

The Urban List speculates the announcement could include stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Hobart—the location featured in the Instagram teaser—suggesting the band may be heading further south than usual. The Australian tour would be Foo Fighters’ first run in the country since 2023.

Foo Fighters released their latest single, Asking For A Friend, in October, marking their first track with new drummer Ilan Rubin. The riff-driven song follows their July release, Today’s Song.
