TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts cloudy weather across Jakarta today, Saturday, 23 August 2025, with a chance of drizzles in some parts.
The light rain potential is present in West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. Meanwhile, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Seribu Islands are expected to remain overcast.
For the surrounding areas of Jakarta, BMKG also forecasts light rain in Bogor Regency and City, Depok City, and Bekasi City. The same applies to the regions of Tangerang Regency and City, as well as South Tangerang City.
Only the Bekasi Regency is expecting no rainfall, but overcast weather.
According to the Weather Outlook for Indonesia issued by BMKG, partly cloudy skies and light rain will dominate over the next week.
Nevertheless, Banten and West Java are among the regions warned about moderate-intensity rain over the weekend. Both these regions are directly neighboring Jakarta.
Meanwhile, in the early to mid next week, West Java is on alert due to the potential for heavy rainfall.
