TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that Jakarta, which has been overcast for the past two days, will be showered with rain later this evening on Saturday, November 29, 2025. The air humidity today ranges from 55 to 97 percent. The wind is blowing from the south to the southwest at varying speeds in different areas, reaching up to 34 kilometers per hour.
Referring to BMKG's latest 24-hour weather forecast, the weather in Jakarta and its vicinity has been overcast since last Friday night and throughout the early hours of this morning. From 07.00 WIB (Western Indonesia Time) until midday, most of Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi) remains overcast. However, there is already the potential for light rain in parts of Bekasi Regency and Tangerang Regency.
Rain is expected to become more widespread in the afternoon and evening, from 13.00 WIB to 19.00 WIB. Light rain is likely to fall in most areas of South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and West Jakarta. Similar predictions are also made for Tangerang Regency and City, South Tangerang City, all of Bekasi, Depok City, and the entire Bogor.
"Be cautious of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds," reads the BMKG's warning on Thursday night, 28th November 2025. The air temperature in Jabodetabek is around 24-32 degrees Celsius. Only in Bogor is the temperature milder, around 18-30 degrees Celsius.
